Ricky Tadlock

Rick peacefully made his entrance into the gates of heaven on September 11, 2020 while surrounded by his loved ones. Born to Reverend Howard G. Tadlock and Wilma F. Tadlock in Lodi, Ca on December 14, 1957. Rick was the youngest of his four siblings, Reverend Jim Tadlock, Sharon Vindedahl and Bonita Werbowski. He is survived by his Mother, siblings Jim and Sharon and is now rejoicing in heaven with his Father and Sister Bonita. Rick leaves behind his loving Wife Peggy along with their three wonderful children and spouses, Richard (Son), Jessica (Daughter in Law), Robert (Son), Andrea (Daughter) and Jorge (Son in law) as well as four grandchildren, Alexa, Madison, Jacob and Brayden. All whom he was so very proud of and loved dearly. He began his life in Woodbridge, Ca followed by Salinas, Ca then to McFarland, Ca and his family made their final landing in Norwalk, Ca in December of 1969. On December 30, 1978 Rick married the love of his life then proceeded to move in his home on Foster Rd. in Norwalk, which he resided in for 40 years and raised his three children. He began his truck driving career over 35 years ago. He enjoyed his journey through 48 states over the years, that entailed many memories of visiting extended family (his top priority), meeting new people (which he loved) and many crazy stories that have been told several times over. When the opportunity and time permitted, Rick enjoyed camping and fishing. Rick had a true zest for life. He always had a story or joke to share that would bring light, love and laughter to any room. And if you really knew him, guaranteed you were a part of his jokes and pranks. Being born into a Christian heritage, Rick knew the Lord from a very young age. As he grew in his faith, his gift and calling became very evident. That God ordained gift was a heart for people and community. Throughout his life he was known to lend a helping hand, give when in need, share his testimonies and most of all, minister the Word of God to anyone and that crossed his path. The passion and boldness he carried was incomparable. After years of miracles, testimonies and re-devoting his life to the Lord, Rick became an ordained Minister and began Breath of Life Ministries. Rick loved nothing more than to speak in the house of God and deliver his powerful testimony. He spent countless hours outreaching in his community and far beyond. He provided numerous bibles, lunches, clothing and prayer to the streets of Skid Row and Norwalk. He's provided backpacks, school supplies and a reminder of God's love to many children in the community and to an orphanage. Also partnering with his Brother Jim Tadlock's church (Visalia New Life) to win souls for the kingdom of God. Rick was a courageous warrior. Rick's heart of gold, love, passion, boldness, courage, voice, and presence will be missed beyond measure. Rest assured, he was greeted at the gates of heaven with "Well done thy good and faithful servant!" We are comforted by the Lord's promises and look forward to the day we are all able to reunite again. Just as Rick would vibrantley and passionately finish with... TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
