Website Memorials

Reflecting on Memories knows that each person passes on their memories in their own way.  We are dedicated to helping you preserve the memory of your loved ones, while honoring their special memory through a personalized custom memorial website.

Custom Websites

Reflecting on Memories can create a custom website for your loved one that will help families and friends stay connected in positive ways during difficult times.  Many people find that webcast funerals enable family and friends to be connected when it matters the most.  Your loved ones website can be linked to the webcast so family can watch in the privacy of their own home.  You can view the webcast on your loved one's own website.  The choice is yours.   There are many other features as well.
Features include:
   1) option to make your website public or private
   2) online obituary
   3) social media connections, including Facebook
   4) share movies and photos of your family members
   5) build your family tree
   6) event information for services with maps, times and driving directions

Information needed to get started:
   1) full name of the deceased
   2) deceased date of birth
   3) deceased date of death
   4) photo (optional)
   5) site administrator/email (optional)

Burial or Cremation?

Your next consideration focuses on choosing between burial and cremation. Usually, people are clear on this point. In fact, your loved one may have told you, or someone else, exactly how they wish to be cared for. But it can be a hard decision for some families, especially when the wishes of the deceased were never clearly stated. If that's the case, please know we're able to help you come to the perfect decision for your loved one, and for you.

Once you decide, the finer details come into focus. If you've chosen burial, then selection of the casket, vault, and desired cemetery follows. Naturally, we’re here to help you.

If cremation is your choice, then you'll need to make the next decision: whether the cremated remains will be placed in a mausoleum niche, or buried on the cemetery grounds.

In some communities, there's the option for a 'green burial.' If that's what your loved one would prefer, we'll help you select an environmentally-friendly choice.

What's Next?

Now that we've given you the basics, it's time to reflect more on exactly what is appropriate for you and your family. If possible, gather everyone together to speak of their feelings and desires.
