Celebrating the Life of Julie Lynn Braun June 25, 1961 – August 15, 2026 Julie Lynn Braun was born on June 25, 1961, to her beloved mother, Patricia Braun. Julie was adorable beyond measure and had a beautiful spirit, yet her life began with deep challenges that were never of her choosing. Through those challenges, Julie learned strength and resilience from a young age. As a young girl, Julie learned to cook, vacuum, and mop alongside her big brother, Scotty, and her sisters, Sharon, Susie, and Linda, who encouraged her along the way. Her family was an important part of her life and helped shape the woman she would become. When Julie was just 14 years old, her brother Scott had become a Christian. One day, he went to their mother’s home, gathered Julie and her friends in the kitchen, and shared with them the love of Jesus Christ. He told them how Jesus went to the cross and gave His life for the sins of mankind. That day, Julie, along with her friends, called upon Jesus Christ to be the Savior of her life. ❤️ After her mother Patricia passed away, Julie moved to Fullerton, California, where her dear sister Susie helped raise her. Julie fell in love at a young age and became a mother to her beautiful daughter, Stephanie. Throughout Julie’s life, she faced many deep struggles. Life was not always easy, but one thing remained certain to her: Jesus Christ was with her. Her faith carried her through the difficult seasons and reminded her that she was never walking alone. The last years of Julie’s life became increasingly difficult with her health. Even then, she continued to be deeply loved by her family. Her brother Scott would call simply to say hello, and Julie would greet him with a smile and say, “That’s my brother, Cowboy Scott!” Those words and her smile brought such joy to his heart. Her sister Sue would send her soft blankets, beautiful rugs, and paintings to hang on her walls, helping make Julie’s room feel warm, cozy, and like a place of comfort. These thoughtful gifts were more than decorations they were little reminders of how deeply she was loved and cared for by her family. In the final days of Julie’s life, Scott was blessed to share a special moments with her over the phone. He prayed Psalm 23 with her and reminded her that she would soon be home with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Though he could not be physically beside her, he was grateful to be able to share those precious words of faith, love, and comfort with his sister in her final days. Julie is now at peace, reunited with her beloved mother, Patricia, her sister Sharon, her grandparents, and other loved ones who had placed their faith in Jesus. Although those who loved Julie will deeply miss her, there is comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. She is home. As her brother Scott said: “As much as I love Julie, I know she is more alive than ever, home with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, and I’m so, so happy for her.” ❤️ Julie’s life was not without hardship, but her story is ultimately one of faith, perseverance, family, and the saving love of Jesus Christ. She is loved. She is missed. And she is finally home.
