Born on February 1, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, Phillip passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife Betty, his eldest grandson Daniel, and his cherished pets, Petunia and Penelope. Phillip was a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother, nephew, son, and a loyal friend to all who were blessed to know him. His gentle presence, quick smile, and steady support made him someone others naturally turned to in times of need, and he never failed to show up with a helping hand and a caring heart. A true car enthusiast, Phillip loved fast cars and the camaraderie of cars and coffee events, where he enjoyed swapping stories and admiring the latest builds. He was also an avid fisherman who found peace and joy on the ocean, especially on trips shared with friends and family; some of his favorite days were spent on the water with his wife, who often seemed to catch more fish than he did—though he would never quite admit it. Phillip carried warm memories of his childhood and loved to reminisce, especially about spirited Monopoly games with his older cousin and uncle. Being the youngest, he was often the target of playful “cheating,” which would leave him so exasperated that he would send the board flying off the table—stories that continued to bring laughter to the family for years. Wherever Phillip went, he made friends. His easygoing nature, kindness, and genuine interest in others drew people to him, and he had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He touched more lives than he ever realized, and his resilience in the face of life’s challenges stands as a powerful reminder to never give up and to keep moving forward with courage and grace. Those who loved Phillip will remember him for his kind and caring spirit, his deep love for his family, and the laughter and warmth he brought into every room. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his example of quiet strength and unwavering love will not be forgotten. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date at one of Phillip’s favorite restaurants, Panda Inn, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories in his honor.
